Air pollution is a growing, global issue that affects millions of people in urban areas every day. Runners and outdoor athletes are exposed to harmful pollutants, every time they hit the streets. Despite the desire to stay fit and healthy, these harmful pollutants make it harder for them to breathe freely and can cause long-term health risks. Traditional air quality data is often too broad, leaving runners unaware of the local air conditions where they are exercising, which can lead to unprotected exposure.

Nike introduces AirTag, the world’s first running accessory designed to help you outrun polluted air.
The device syncs with the Nike Running App, providing runners with real-time, hyper-local insights about the air quality during their workout. It maps out safe routes with cleaner air and warns runners when they enter high-risk zones, empowering them to make healthier, more informed decisions about when and where to run.

With AirMap, running becomes smarter. Safer. More conscious. It’s not just about pace or distance anymore. It’s about protecting what powers every run: your breath. Because performance should never come at the cost of your health.
